i remember reading this fic and i havnt been able to find it again. It was like spike is in love with buffy and he wants to give her a special gift = angel. so he finds this spell or something that allows angels soul to fight against the demon for control over angel's body to like get rid of the curse. and of course stupid pansy angel is not strong enough so spike has to join his demon (i think) to help angel win and in the process, he (spike/demon/william) ends up being trapped inside angel with angel's soul. cant remember the specifics of that. I just remember the ending was so sad bc buffy really did love spike and it ended with something like 'every time buffy needed spike/demon angel would go into gameface and angel's soul would retreat so buffy could be with and see spike and his "soul" (ie William) through the blue/yellow demon eyes' . the jist i think was spike becomes one with angel so he can be with buffy or something like that. not sure if that rings a bell for anyone. I was pretty sure it was on a spuffy site bc the beginning is spuffy until spikes gift and then buffy loves him for it and they are kinda together at the end. anyway thanks for reading and please if you can help at all i appreciate it! |
