I actually saved the second half of this story in Word. I can't remember the title or author and hoping someone can provide the complete copy. The second half starts with Spike and Buffy who are now together (after prom) and dealing with Faith/the Mayor's ascension. Angel was hit by Faith's poisoned arrow and has 24 hours left. Antidote's Slayer blood. While hunting for Faith (to provide the blood), Spike gets shot by Faith's arrow. Buffy decides to give Faith's blood to Spike instead. But Spike feeds Angel Faith's blood as he believes Buffy still loves Angel. In the end, Buffy cuts herself to feed Spike. There are 18 chapters.
Oh, chapter 8 has Spike and Buffy discussing history (Marcus Aurelius) and philosophy (predestiny). |
