Fairies come to the rescue in the pivotal battle.

Hi. I read a fic a long time ago and the only thing that I remember is that Riley is showing Buffy around the Initiative and she looks in one of the enclosures and sees a young fairy. It bothers her and she says to Riley...something like "Why is she here? She's just a little girl. Her parents are probably worried." Later on when she helps Spike escape, she opens the enlosure and takes the little girl with her. Everyone ends up outside of Gile's place and it looks like they're about to lose a battle with the soldiers when suddenly there are arrows flying everwhere and fairies start to come out of the woods. Sound familiar to anyone?

Oh my God! Yes that's it! I am shocked and ashamed that I did not remember that this fic was by one of my very favourite authors. Thank you so much. I can't wait to read it again, and it was elves....not fairies. Oh well, I was close. lol. You are the best.
