Spike becomes Buffy's ideal boyfriend

I'm looking for a fic where Buffy has a conversation with a girl (at the Bronze?) and starts talking about how she would change Spike to make him the ideal boyfriend. Turns out the girl is a demon or witch and changes Spike to suit Buffy's ideal. Spike wakes up one day in a nice apartment, in different clothes, with a job, and all that. He's definitely NOT happy about it, and when he finds out Buffy did the wishin', he has trouble forgiving her. Meanwhile, Buffy falls in love with the new Spike, but she can't have him because he's mad at her. I've tried searching for this fic, but without the title, I'm getting nowhere.

I've read this one but the name also escapes me. There are fics with variations on this theme though so I want to be sure I'm thinking of the one you want. Was Spike still vampire or was he turned human? Did he have a soul or not? Was it post-Chosen or pre-Chosen?

I am familiar with one, might not be the right one considering it was a challenge idea and there may be several variations out there.
The one I know is titled: It's Got to Be Perfect by Speaker-To-Customers.

Actually, it's Practically Perfect by Kallysten, not Kantayra.

Kantayra issued the challenge and Kallysten was one of the responders. Unfortunately I cannot find it on the internet anywhere, not even Kallysten's own site where it resided previously. I have a copy of it in cwk that I am cleaning up right now (getting rid of weird symbols caused by translating it into Word). If no one can find a link for it (or a wayback for it, I am no good with wayback without an actual webaddress to work with) I am willing to send it to you if you contact me through my email here at TSR.

I have the actual story -- Kallysten is the author. Those two collaborated on some stories, it is possible it showed up somewhere as a collaboration but it isn't mentioned as a collaboration on the copy I have or on any of the broken links I've foiund.

Are you saying you have an entirely different story written by Kantayra?

I have not been able to find any such story anywhere or referenced anywhere. Kantayra took down her site so we only have archives to find her stories and I don't see it mentioned anywhere. Kallysten's story of that name is all over the internet on awards sites and on the link I gave above, unfortunately the links are all broken now so the actual story I cannot find on the internet. A story of that name by Kantayra is no where mentioned. She did issue the challenge, though.

Back when the story was on the internet I copied it (which is why it's in cwk on my computer) and I've now cleaned it up in Word, but it's gone now on the internet.

I'm happy to email it to people who ask but the rules state that you have to email me rather than me email you. You can contact me via my contact here at TSR and I will respond with the story. Thanks.
