Spike and Buffy have a baby in high school and Buffy splits and leaves the baby with Spike to raise

Does anyone remember this story? It wasn't finished when I read it years ago.

Spike falls for Buffy in high school and she's kinda damaged and wild then she gets pregnant. She doesn't care at all about the baby and takes off leaving Spike with the baby and he winds up raising her. The story jumps then to when the little girl is about seven or so and Spike is a single working dad, taking the little girl to school, just generally being Mr Mom. And then Buffy shows up....and Spike is not happy to see her at all.

I have no idea the author or story name but I think it was originally on spuffyfantasy before that site closed down. Any help naming it or the author or locating it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like it could be Fireworks by Golidlocks (here on SR, I think):

Summary: As teenagers, Buffy and Spike fall madly in love. They never imagined, on the night that they made love for the first time beneath the fireworks of Sunnydale Day, that Buffy would become pregnant. After giving birth to their daughter, Dawn, she decides that she isn't ready to be a mother and leaves both Spike and her child. How will Spike react five years later when she suddenly breezes into town to see them?

Thank you. It sounds similar but it differs significantly in who Buffy was when she gave birth. In fact I think she may have given birth in a car although I could remember that part wrong. Buffy was willing to let the baby die and left Spike there without a backwards glance. She was wild and drugging and just almost sociopathic in her responses at that time. In Fireworks she loved her baby and just wanted more for herself. The Buffy in the story I'm looking for wasn't on her way up to some successful future self.

Fireworks is a great story though. I just wish I could find the other one...

It couldn't have been that the baby was a son? That's the only one I remember. It's still WIP; Spike wasn't the father (Angel, his brother was) but he was caring for him.

Spuffyfantasy had one chapter more; haven't read it though I can't tell you much about it. But it's the only one besides Irishrose's story that has a baby in it and Buffy wasn't in the picture. *checks* How can you look your child in the eye, and tell her that the woman who birthed her subsequently threw her out with the trash?
But maybe it's only a similar one.

You're welcome! Sad thing is the story had (has) 16 chapters at the spuffyarchives (spuffyfantasy) but my only link is for 15.

Someone asked for fic recs here, I asked for another link. No luck yet.

Jo Risu other story was @ Flesh for Fantasy, I thought it was at the offline archive but I can't find it there; tried some wayback machine links but they don't work. "Daddy" was there too but the links were from around 2004 anyway so maybe older = less chapters anyway.
I'll check if I get an answer for another link even if the last chapter wasn't that long anyway.
