Spike getd the chip out.

In the episode "Out of Mind" where Riley needs to see the doctor and there is that scene with Spike and Harmony and the chip. In the story Spike gets the chip out and while he and Buffy are fighting he realizes he likes her and I think he claims her then or later. Anyway the claim is preventing her from wishing harm on Spike.
Riley is more or less kicked out of the Scoobies because he insults Buffy. I really like this story I think the title is like "out of the grey" but I'm probably wrong.

		agree with coalitiongirl. it's the same answer as in: '2 fics' here in cold cases. ( I guess I just can't sleep tonight so I found myself doing something useful at least... so I'm in full research mode ^^)
