It starts with Bad, Bad Thing, then next is Mr William. After that is Buffy and Professor William, then finally Spike and Mrs William. They are all in her memories under the heading of Mr William, one chapter at a time.

I have never read The Mr William Series by pepperlandgirl and know for sure that it was finished.Sorry. Looks as if I have to give up.

Spike is a college professor but she doesn't know that in the beginning. They meet in a bar after Spike spills a drink on her. Faith works there. A little later in the story, they meet again in a store. Buffy and Spike are both after the same brand of cookies. Then the store gets robbed and Buffy gets her knee hurt. Spike takes her back to his apartment to fix it.

Does that ring any bells? I hope you find the one you want this request is driving us all crazy too.

Don't think it's the one, has it marked as one I have to read at some point. At the gathering I mentioned, Buffy thought she felt out of place. She was watching Spike discuss something with his friends. Maybe sitting on the armrest of the chair Spike is sitting in, but that I'm not sure about.

Could you go over the description of the story one more time? I hate to have you give up. Have you remembered anything else? Is it set in contemporary times for sure? Do you remember if it was one story or could it be a series of stories that follow the same characters?
