I remember Buffy and quite possibly some others in this building/house doing everything they could against this evil. I know they were using some pretty powerful books (white magic possibly) against this evil.

I know very vague, I remember this scene in my head that there was quite a few of them after they came in from fighting on the street. I'm not sure if it was Buffy evil or Willow evil or another evil. It might be Willow evil. I think at some point they're on the street fighting Buffy might know magic too? She has some weird powers? No, not comic crazy weird. Powers. It was vividly showed in words. I have been looking for this story for years and haven't found it at all...I'm wondering if this might have been on BS diaries.... I'm also wondering if it was finished even though I strongly feel it was.

The first one sounds like it might be Zephyr Ghosts by Eurydice.

That sounds eerily close, so close I want to say it is it...but sadly I remembered this was one of the few that was unfinished and seemed like it would remain.

I skimmed it and as I got to the end...my hope sunk. I was like woh this sounds like it...but where was the building, the street where Buffy was fighting something, and then running up to a house that was protected by magic?

I vividly remember it stopping at the crux of the story where they are fighting this big bad wind/spirit/ghost/noncorporeal thing and then something happens. Dawn and the others are there with some book and are protected but something happens to Buffy and it stops there...I think. Or maybe it was too much for me to finish or I got preoccupado, lol. But I have this feeling of: it wasn't finished.

But thank you that series is a good one! Definitely rec it. I didn't finish the first part. I know, strange! I don't think it's The Hunt either. Thanks though!
