this fic is set in season 7 around when they kick buffy out of her house. buffy and spike are in love and get back together, and not everyone is happy about it. giles confronts here and tells her that spike is compromising her ability to her duties as the slayer. she has to choose the mission or spike. spike is out w/ andrew at this time. they come back and talk in her room. spike's reaction is but we are in love and meant to be but buffy chooses the mission. spike storms out. later buffy comes to her senses and goes to find spike.
