Hi looking for a fic that I can only remember the beginning of - it's an alternative ending of What's my line Part 2 where Buffy is the one who pulls Spike out of the wreckage. Angel may have turned into Angelus and run off with Dru but I might be confusing my stories!

Was this a story where she is sent back in time? It sounds very familiar but I can't think what it is!!

Summary: Starts as a season 2 fic after Buffy makes a gut decision.

Buffy pull Spike out of burning church and he has been injured by both fire and crushing organ. I haven't read it yet so I don't know where it goes from there but the beginning meets your description.

Hi thanks but it's not that one - great fic though! Definately starts with B pulling Spike out of the church and I think some firmen thought Spike was dead due to the lack of breathing. but I can't remeber anything else apart from that
