Hi im trying to remember the name of a fic i read ages ago. It starts out after the gift Buffy comes back from the dead but its not Willow that brings her back its the Powers that be, she goes home and Dawn screams freaking out, i don't remember a lot but i know in the first chapter she is talking to Spike about how he said she'll never love him in the ep the gift and she says "Never say never"

Its a pretty long fic and i think i remember Buffy falls pregnant to Spike but he thinks she cheated on him cause you know vampire, and Buffy is almost killed and Giles goes off at Spike but that's all i remember. Hope someone can help me.

Wow, this is the one I posted months ago...I remember this being on a forum here. I don't think it was found. I have been looking for this fic everywhere!

Different details were given. I know that I was looking for one that Giles goes after Spike for doubting Buffy. All the one's I read didn't come close. So I'm not sure Spikes_slayer08. I hope someone finds this, because this is the exact one I have been looking a loooong time for!

That part falls closely with Nimue's Peacemaker Series (found here) just select Nimue. The whole series is listed there by book number or you can check out my Season 6 Forum [here] for Nimue.

This was the only one close enough to some of the details I was looking for. BUT the one you are remembering about the Powers bringing back Buffy sounds like a lot of other stories too: like JackofSpikes Time of the Guardians to name one. I know there are others that have the Powers bringing Buffy back. I just can't recall them. Hope someone else can? Hopefully gave you something to read lol! But, I don't think the story you are looking for is either of these.

One of my favorite stories of a growing list, lol! Too many faves! This one Buffy isn't pregnant from what I just skimmed. I wanted to make sure. I know there was a claim and a marriage, but didn't remember if there was a baby involved.

This story made me think of another story when Buffy was very pregnant and Spike took her to some secluded house where they I believe they made love...but this was the end of the story. They had been to the same place before. Not human either. I rarely read those lol. If someone remembers reading a story like that...bonus! If not I hope you find the one Spikes_slayer08 is looking for because I believe this is the same one I have been looking for too!

But! I loved this story. I know the story SS08 is thinking of is the same one I have been looking for...for such a long long very long time. I'm wondering if I found it on BS Diaries because I used that site more often than the others. Or Vampire Kiss.

Buffy says 'never say never' when she comes back after the Gift in 'And miles to go' by cousinjean, but it's not a long fic and it doesn't seem to fit any of the other characteristics mentioned except the Powers arrange for Buffy to come back without Willow's help - Spike does the challenge thing that Angel did in an attempt to save Darla.
