Ages ago I read a fic that started at Normal Again, where Buffy ends up in the institution, but ends up staying there and "getting better". I can't remember much more than that, other than I think she meets "Spike" when she goes back home?

Summary: Buffy chooses to go with her mother in the "real" world rather than going back to Sunnydale...but you'll never believe what she finds there...

What turned me off about this fic was the author's use of the actor's names (Nick, Ally, James, Juliet, etc) as it made the writing a bit immature. Like she was a serious fan-girl. In one chapter, she destroys the flow by putting an author note in the middle of the narrative.
