Spike is the sole NFA surviver and tries to visit Buffy. Can't recall if he's still a vamp or human. He first finds Dawn who he tells his story too and she persuades him to fly with her to England and find Buffy. Giles let's him crash on his sofa where Buffy finds him. Willow is furious when she hears from Spike how Giles never told her Angel needed her help in saving Fred and tears into him(Giles)

I also recall Dawn gives Spike a card saying he's part of their family.

One of my favorite parts was while talking to Buffy, Spike has a flashback about the LA gang and how he misses them.
