I know I've read this fic before and it may be a part of an entire rewrite but it takes place during the S2 Inca Mummy episode. All I can remember of it is that Buffy and the gang are all at the Bronze in their costumes and Spike shows up, mentioning that he can smell/sense that Ampata is a mummy, or at least not human. I can't remember any more specifics (thus the desire to reread) but I do know that the pair soon get together after that.

Also, I can't seem to find a spuffy rewrite of the episode "Ted", so if anyone knows where to find it...

Thanks for the help with the Ted fic :) I'm still having no luck for the mummy one.

Authoress Nebula over at Just Rewards did a whole series of unconnected Fluffy Spuffy rewrites of a good many episodes. Don't know if this includes Inca Mummy but she certainly did one for most of the season two eps.


Edit: Sorry to get your hopes up, but I checked both at Just Rewards and Sinister Attraction where more of the series is posted, and there doesn't seem to be an Inca Mummy one.

I saw an Inca Mummy one just the other day but I've been logging so many stories and authors the last two weeks that I have no idea who wrote it or where it is. Argh. But at least I know it's currently around here somewhere....
