I remember reading this story but I don't remember any other details. Instead of Buffy waking up in her grave after Willow's spell she wakes up to Xander's CPR after fighting the Master. Obviously things go a bit differently with it being a second go around. I think spike just turned up at the point he did in season 2 but the relationship with Angel had already changed, but I really don't remember much of it so that might not be right. Definitely spike/buffy though.

It isn't any of Maryperk's stories. I thought it seemed like something she would write be so I checked already.

The only one I can find is Torn by Smudgiboo. But in this one post master-killed Buffy wakes up after the scoobies do the spell and runs to the high school to find it's under construction in season 6. Sorry if it doesn't help!

It's definitely the ressurection spell that does it (though it could have been a PTB hijack of it) and a Buffy who hasn't been through season 6 yet.

Ok misread that. There is another story like this but not season 1. I need to find it on BSV. The only Fics I know of are Mary's, dreamweavers, and JackofSpikes stories. I probably know a lot more, but my brain is sleeping.

Still looking but haven't found anything going back that far besides Jackofspikes and dreamweaver and Maryperks stories. I did find Ariel Dawn's Second Youth series and UncagedMuses story What they Deserve, and even Replay by SinisterChic. But none of them expcept Ariel Dawn's Second Youth does the Resurrection Spell bring back a different Buffy but to Season 6.

I'd love to read this if anyone finds it...these stories are a rarity!

And guest...hate to tell you this, but going back all of the clues with the exception of the resurrection sounds just like this story. You sure you didn't combine two stories together? Like Second Chances and Time of the Guardians or even Second Youth series? Easy error to make because if there is a story out there like that I really really want to read it because I love absolutely love Time Travel fics! Hope you find it!

No have had another read just in case but it definitely wasn't the JackofSpike stories. I think it was darker, Buffy was Buffy pulled from heaven not adjusted to it all Buffy. I think that there was an attempt to be in a relationship with Angel without sleeping together but he couldn't cope with 'messed up Buffy', I'm not 100% sure about that though. That actually could be mixed in from another fic.

More like buffy who still thinks she and angel have a perfect true love has more of an opportunity to realise that it isn't all that different to any other relationship when she has the experience of him sticking around and sees him through a more grown up perspective. Assuming I didn't imagine the whole thing anyway

and on the same assumption, I'm starting to feel pretty sure that spike turns up outside the Bronze as normal but she can't bring herself to stake him because she has a flashback to after glory beats him up. I'm not 100% sure that bit isn't mixed in from another fic either though. The only bits I'm certain of are ressurection spell and Buffy from Bargaining with attached baggage turns up when Xander does CPR.

If this story really exist (and sorry I can't help you, Guest, I haven't read this one!), I REALLY want to read it! It sounds great from what you're saying.....damn!

The part about the resurrection spell gowing bad and resurrected Buffy ends in season does seem familliar, but I can't remember either the name of the author or the story!

The only dimension or time travel fics I've found for Prophecy Girl are Aisling_Siobhan's Long Way Home, JackofSpike's Second Chance, Sus' Replacement, and WendyJane's In the Mind. Kari Mouke also wrote Perchance to Dream which has kindof dreams of the future.
