Since Angelus is still without his soul, Buffy is forced to ask the one vampire she hates for a hand. The problem is, he's in a wheelchair. What happens when a crippled vamp and a slayer make a cross-country trip to save the world? Will they kill each other before they get there, or will her horrible driving do the job for them? But what if they found solace in one another's company instead? Could it be? Yes, it most certainly could.

What would've happened if Angelus really lost his soul during the episode, Enemies during Season 3? I started this story in April of 1999, back when there were only a few fics of this sort out there. NC-17!

Not sure if you ever asked or have received any, but email me your address and I will send you a zip folder of all of Kari Mouke's stories. I can never stop reading them all even the short one's. My favorite of hers is Catching Flies and Meow both which are long stories. Other great one's are: A Not So Gorgeous Mistake and Normal.

Just to warn you and I will eventually change this after I finish fixing my computer (I rebooted) that there are doubles of the fic Keeping Him in this zip folder. AND I did change a name from Joan to Izzy in A Not So Gorgeous Mistake. Sorry my preference. You can have Word fix that for you by doing a search and replace. Bad memories with that name. My daughter and I came up with the name change. LOL

Hi, hope you enjoy them! I will be sending you an update of Love as a state of mind because it was brought to my attention it was missing a chapter. In my opinion it wasn't much.
