Spuffy fics turned into original fiction

Hi, I'm wondering if there are any great spuffy works that only exist as original fics now? I read a few recently that were mentioned on this board--Firsts by Holly, Mad World by pepperlandgirl, and Passionate by Sotia--and loved them all. I'm curious as to what else is out there, as I'm pretty new to the wonderful world of spuffy, or formerly spuffy, as the case may be.

Jypzrose reworked another story that wasn't spuffy. (Second Chances maybe?)

"California Stars by Pepperlandgirl" is an original book, too.

*edit* Kallysten reworked some BtVS stories too. I don't know how I could forget maybe because I don't have them in my entry were I copied from.

Does anyone have a copy of Do Not Disturb that they could send me? From her livejournal it looks like it is not published yet, otherwise I would purchase it. I loved One Glorious Summer so would probably love this one too, I figure.

Titles ?

One was about buffy and Spike in india where spike kidnaps buffy to be apart of a harem and the other takes place in the old south. i never read the old south one and really wanted to but i came to the spuffy fandom too late and now am waiting for the original fic. Both are by Sandra

Ah I know now whom you mean, you got the author name wrong. You could try to contact her; I don't know (not sure if she didn't tell or I forgot) where she is publishing her work. And even if I remembered, that was years ago. The rights could be with a new publisher by now.

She was one to do it the other way around - after the rights came back to her she posted a "spuffy" version of an original story (L.o.L.). The one you mean is "Elizabeth's Destiny" and "Lessons of Love". I think she wanted to try to sell E's D. as an original story and probably did it.
She posted E's D again under her new name (Sandara) but I don't see it any longer. Maybe she took it down again?

You could try to ask her about it (reposting or the name of her publisher).

"Taking of Elizabeth Summers", "Elizabeth's Destiny" and "Lessons of Love", are they all the same story?

I have an old link to a Waybackmachine author site of her (the old name) of TSR. The index works with the WBM but I never get the WBM to work with chapters (to open strories).

The link says for the stories Elizabeth Destiny:
Set in 1823 India. Elizabeth Summers is captured by William aka Spike to be trained and placed in the harem of a sadistic rich man who's tastes in the bedroom are of the extreme. (etc. etc.)
It's the same story as The taking of Elizabeth, she changed the titel when reposting I think.

And for Lessons of Love
This is a historical romance set in the old south. Spike is a dashing rake that deals in the many nasties of life. Prostitution being one of them. Buffy is the unwanted stepdaughter of a man with a good title. etc. etc.

IMPORTANT: Please don't post any links to Elizabeth's Destiny or Lessons of Love here via wayback machine as the author really really doesn't want them published anywhere as fanfiction under her old pen name as it has been a problem in the past. Thank you for respecting her wishes.
