Hi,I'm looking for fics where spike keeps the gem in season4 for whatever reason. Or because buffy doesnt give it to angel or because spike's smarter and buffy doesnt know what form the gem has. Id like a longfic, spuffy obviously. Thanks

This isn't *Exactly* what you're looking for, but in the AU series Unexpected, Spike eventually gets the Gem back and keeps it. But it goes off-canon in S2, so the Gem doesn't come into play until much later in the fic.

Fix You by Enigmaticblue (on Nocturnal Light) and Pandora's Boxer by speaker2customers (on EF) are both time travel fics where Spike travels back in time and gets to keep the Gem.

And Here We Go Around Again by Megan at EF has Spike accidently making a wish in season that sends him back to early season 2. He gets the gem and keeps it in this one.
