Post chosen or NFA

Hey, back to ask for more goodies. Angsty or sad post chosen or NFA fics with happy Spuffy endings. Looking for real tearjerkers. Time travel fics ok.

The Bittersweets Series is technically not post-Chosen in that it doesn't really follow that canon, but it is definitely timewise post that period of time. The final story in the series is the most tearjerkingingest spuffy story I've ever read, so much so that I had to take it in sections in order to deal with it. The ending, however, is worth it and not a bad place to be so it meets your criteria.

This was the only explanation to go into the story, but don't let this fool you, this story is absolutely amazing. I've read it a dozen times and it still gets me.

It's not actually post-"Chosen" or post-"NFA," but it has lots of angst. To summarize, Spike leaves Sunnydale after Buffy beats him in "Dead Things" and builds a new life for himself in LA. When something life-changing happens to Buffy, she seeks him out to make amends. Also includes Wesley and an original character as leads.

I wouldn't call it angst, exactly, but there is a lot of Buffy and Spike dealing with their issues after NFA.
