I love Spuffy. That said, I've just read a string of fics where Buffy does a bunch of stuff to Spike and he just takes it and forgives her right away... and I'm sick of it!

So I'm looking for some fics where Spike is mad at Buffy, like really actually mad. I'm thinking after the end of both seasons maybe, cause there are just so many reasons to be mad at her. For example:

1. She freaking kissed Angel!
2. She gave Angel that lame 'cookies' speech
3. She waited til he was burning to tell home she loved him (and that was like, what, 48 hours post sucky face with the great poof?)
4. Uh, The Immortal anyone?
5. The Council not saving dear Fred

Just to name a few. Any one of those, or combo, could be a basis for some real anger, right?

And please, nothing where she just gets mad at him and then says she's sorry and he immediately forgives it all. It's cool if he's all 'I still love you, but I don't like you, and we are not okay'... er, or something like that.

Anyone ever read anything like that??

This is a brilliant fic and the newly minted human Spike simply has no place for Buffy in his life any more - and it is driving her mad. She is determined to get back into his good graces any way she can, and it's really well done and emotionally realistic. I love this story.

There are parts of the Bittersweets series by Herself where they are not exactly at peace with each other, but the final story, the most heartwrenching ride I ever took in a fanfiction, is set twenty-one years after the series end (or at least that time period). And Buffy and Spike are NOT okay with each other, and Spike has pretty much had it. And Buffy is remorseful. That is most of the fic, so that should satisfy your criteria pretty much. It is also brilliantly written and a wonder to read. I cried a lot but I don't regret it.
