Looking for cannon or AU fics where either Buffy or Spike get hurt in some way and end up physically deformed. An example of one I've already read Scars where Buffy's back get burned up. I've also read the Herself fic were she loses a leg.

Leading the Blind by BloodEnvy involves Spike getting badly injured and losing his eyesight:

Sabershadowkat had a fic, In Jealousy's Wake, that I always remember. I found it on Elysian Fields, but she has her own website too elsewhere, if I remember rightly.

Restfield by Maryperk is a short but entertaining story where Buffy is scarred and burnt after going thru a portal.

There's one that's Phantom of the Opera-esque in that Spike's face is marred in an accident, it costs him Drusilla, and he takes up with Buffy - whom he'd never look twice at before?

I think my fic Chasing a Dream would qualify. Buffy has scars on her face. It's currently a WIP, but it's long and I expect to finish it in a few chapters. It's being updated weekly.

Summary: The scars on her face have made her a recluse but when the bleached stranger barges into the small town like a black clad hurricane, he throws her quiet life right out of whack. He's aggravating, unpredictable, and oh so hot.

The destiny she never thought she'd have is set in motion the minute she starts having dreams of being someone else. But how can she figure out what it means when she forgets as soon as she wakes up?

The story is AU but it's a world that has all the supernatural in it.
