So anyways, looking for some season 3 and/or Road Trip fics. Completed only please, NC-17 or AO ratings. Claim is always fun but not NEEDED.

I've read: "Blood and Fire" by Addie Logan; "LET'S GET LOST" by Herself; and "A Chance in Hell" by dampersandspoons (all road trip fics, all amazing, but I'm searching for something with a little bit of a less open ending than "LET'S GET LOST" had, although it had a good open ending).

Well, it's not a road-trip fic but it's one of my favourite ever S3 fics ...

Beloved In Blood by Ameeya

Season 3, Lover's Walk. Spike returns to Sunnydale to kill the Slayer. He's just too drunk to do it properly, and ends up getting himself into the deep without even realizing it. Perhaps worst of all, he has no memory of his actions the next day.

Also, this one is a fav too ...

Delust or Dust by damperandspoons

Spike has returned to Sunnydale, heartbroken that Drusilla has left him. When a love spell goes horribly wrong, how will the Scoobies react when the slayer gets involved with yet another vampire? Will Giles wipe his glasses in disapproval? Will Xander not understand but be too enamored with the visuals to say anything? Is Angel going to brood about it or will he do something more? WHAT WILL HAPPEN? (Starts off with the episode "Lover's Walk" and then goes AU practically from the start.)

And of course the Yellow Brick Road series by Holly.

Summary: This story is based on Challenge #87 on the Bloodshedverse, issued by Bloodshed Baby. The challenge reads like this:

Another early season "lost somewhere and having to rely on each other to survive" Spuffy story in the same vein as Castaway, Stranded, The Game series, etc. (Oh come on, you know these kind of fics are fun).

Set in Season 3, after Lover's Walk, Vampire Council decides to punish those responsible for the state the Aurelius line is in and kidnap Buffy and Spike.

Then add a dash of telepathy, Angel as The Brooding Wonder, the Scoobies, and Giles' frequent spectacle cleaning, and you have the makings of one helluva ride. Written for VioletRoze88's challenge at EF of the same title.
