There is Shades of Something Grey by Jos_spuffyfics. Its a WIP here on SR. Buffy is a chipped vamp hiding from the Initiative and Spike is the Slayer.

I think you are looking for Shades of Something Blue by Spikeslovebite. Buffy is a chipped vampire and Spike is the Slayer in season 4 and it's complete, has been for many years. You can find it at Elysian Fields archive.
