Ok, this is bit of a strange rec request, because it's very specific. It's more of a fic finding request, but I've never read a fic with this premise.

Are there any stories where Angel Shanshues post NFA and Spike bows out/ Buffy and Angel get together but Buffy later realizes she wants Spike after all? It's seems such an inevitable premise, but I've never yet read a fic along those lines. Maybe because most Spuffies seem to prefer to forget Angel even exists, LOL.

The Wind Beneath My Wings - Slaymesoftly has Buffy getting ready to marry human Angel; however, she does think Spike is dead and has to choose.

There's also Ready to Serve by pfeifferpack....Angel is still a vamp in this one, but it does meet your criteria and it's a good story and Buffy finally gets a clue.

My Wind Beneath My Wings is pretty much exactly what you're talking about; although Spike doesn't allow Buffy to make that decision until it's almost too late.

I also have one where both Angel and Spike get the Shanshu and Buffy chooses Spike, but that part's just a flashback. Both Spike and Angel end up being revamped at some point. "Always Wait for You" is that title - but it may not be what you're looking for.
