My friend is looking for some fic recs for any stories written in the same vein as The Immortal Guardian Series, Penny for Your Thoughts, etc...

For those who haven't read those two stories can you be more specific? What exactly is a 'fix it' fic?

I think you're talking about "do-over" fic, correct? Time travel back to fix mistakes, change the outcome?

I could swear there is a thread buried in this forum for those, but here's a couple:

Dreamweaver has quite a few do-over fics.
Holly's "Shades of Heaven" is also a travel back/do-over
Megan's "Here We Go 'Round Again" and also "Careless Memories" in a roundabout way.

Thanks all - to me "fixit" doesn't necessarily imply time travel but it does often end up going that route. I just have a weakness for stories like these and yes, I've read several of the ones on this list already. The ones where Spike and Buffy are destined, or the ones where they end up seeing his worth a little ahead of time, I just adore them. The Immortal Guardian series, Replacement, Penny For Your... I can't help it. Penny For Your is so over-the-top I should be ashamed but I absolutely love it.

Hey, you could've turned out worse. One of my friends IRL is a canon guy. And I mean to the t. He likes the idea of Spuffy but because in the show they never really had that chance to. "get together" get together, he will not give fanfics a go.
