Buffy and Spike fall asleep, he's amazed when he wakes up...

I really only remember a few lines from this story. I remember the two of them falling asleep and Spike waking up first. He panics because Buffy is wrapped around him. But, when she wakes up, she just tells him to quite wiggling. That she is going to sleep longer and he should too.

I'm sorry, I know it is vague, but does it remind anyone of a story?

I'm pretty sure it's a season 6 fic.

I really don't remember if it is or if it is an AU fic... I know, I have a terrible memory!

Can you think of any more detail?

That could be so very many stories! Example: I read it in Niamh's Originverse too. In the beginning actually. Yes, I'm re-reading Season 6 stories. I want to know this Season like the very back of my hand lol! Haven't posted in awhile on the Forum Season 6 in awhile, but I plan to and sorry definitely not soon. June is a busy month for me. I may be able to read but post is going to be kind of hard.

I know Holly had something similar to that too but not in the same way. Gosh I think Kari Mouke had something similar too except it was in the form of a baby between them.

As far as Spike being panicked...hmmm....not sure. I have read that he starts to panic and then he is more awed and savors the moment until she wakes. I know it sounds like a Season 6 fic, but maybe it's a Season 4...In Harm's Way by Dawnofme, is it? Spike does that panicking in the beginning a lot. And it's from a spell Harmony does.

SO I'm gonna just move this the 'fic recs' section because the list for this can get very long.

But this definitely should stay as a Fic Rec because this is a very common theme amongst some stories! I totally agree Pari! But to answer the original post it's this story. I'm absolutely positive!!!!

Definitely keep this thread! More along the lines of Buffy wakes up or Spike wakes up after either something wacky happened or a spell or even the marathon of playtime they had the night before, lol.

Hope that helps the original postee but I agree keep open for those who find stories that are close or of this topic. I would love to read more with this type but more so Buffy wanting to be there but Spike unsure. I love when he questions if he should panic or treasure this time like it's so precious knowing it will all end soon. Then he gets shocked when it doesn't. Love those!
