Did anyone mention Wheels on Fire by Greyangel? The story begins with Spike in a wheelchair and Buffy spying on Angel with Dru at the mansion. It is one of my favorite stories.

Enemy's Heartstrings is a season two AU by AGriffinWriter in which Spike is brutally tortured by Angelus post-"What's My Line?", and takes refuge with the Scoobies while he's still paralyzed. It can be found at Elysian Fields and FFN.

Brilliant, thank you. I will probably wait until it is complete but I will keep an eye on it. And I see she has done a Helpless rewrite that is complete so I have a new fic set in one of my favourite times and a new author to explore whilst I wait!!
