Looking for fics where Buffy and Spike have a baby, are destined to have one and don't know, or Buffy is already pregnant. The kid(s)-all grown up-comes back from the future to help them stop something bad from happening to one or both of their parents or themselfs. A great example would be, "If I Was Your Vampir" by: MistressNobody.

Well, just because you've read it doesn't mean other people reading this thread after you have so even if a fic is one you've read or one you don't like for some reason, please remember that although you are the original poster that the thread is meant to meet the needs of lots of people after you as well. Your request is extremely specific also, so I imagine there aren't a ton of fics out there that are going to fit your parameters. Thanks.

You are right Smac, but I didn't mean that the only fics lposted should be as I said not "main-streem", I meant that personaly I would like some unheard of fics or fics that may have at one time been great but have fallen off the map. But by all means post whatever fits the thread. I am really sorry you had to explain this. I guess I needed to be more specific. My appolagies.

No problem. The thing is that fans are all along a spectrum of long time and newly found the fandom and what may be 'old' to you may be 'new' to someone else. And something I read in 1999 may be old news to me but not to you, etc. The main thing to remember about the threads is that they live on and three years from now someone will stumble upon it and benefit from the recs that work for you as well as those that don't for whatever reason. If someone recs something that you've read or already know about, just thank them and if you want to noodge for more recs. But we don't want to stomp on someone's response when they took the trouble to look the thing up and post it for you, all in good faith. Big picture.

SpikeSauce163 any excuse to mention Origins is impossible to ignore, you just can't ever miss out the classics. But now because of your praise I feel the pressure to think up some more suggestions.

Difficult request to satisfy but I've thought of one you may or may not have come across, I'm not sure how mainstream it is *fingers crossed*. A prophesy exists around Buffy and Spike and their children in this and Buffy has a visit from a future child in a dream to give her a warning, I think before she is even pregnant (I love the second half for the family side)...

OMG I should mention this one and the absolute best, but so very angsty at times that I wanted to smack the bitchy out of Buffy! Eclipse of the Heart by SinisterChic or found here written by Heather Martin. This story is a babyfic, yes, but the future part some miss that because I don't think it was ever listed as a time travel fic on Spuffy Realm. It's listed as a Serial Fic...hmm been awhile not sure what that means lol.

However, on Sinister-attraction.net it has a better description:

Summary: B/S T/W A/X Something goes funky with Spike and Buffy after their coupling in the abandoned house. Meanwhile, a demon and a mysterious girl come to Sunnydale from the future.

Be prepared to really want to throttle Buffy a lot! You definitely feel more for Spike in this one, and yet, it still comes out Spuffy! Loved it, well, maybe not the over-angsty parts ! Enjoy and happy reading!
