Adoption

Well, I knew there was one but now that I've remembered it there's some bad news. The fic is:

Bought, Sold, Lost, Found by squawks

Summary: AU. Buffy is adopted by Parker and Melissa Abrams, who already have three other adopted children - Angel, Spike and Kathy. She believes that living in a beautiful large house with a caring family must be better than the orphanage she was previously in. But could she be wrong? What is she to do when her new 'father' doesn't exactly see her as a 'daughter'? Will someone save her?

There are quite a few foster child fics out there. I haven't been able to think of any actual adoption fics at the moment.

		I'm interested to know if there are more of these, but of the supernatural sense. But if you have some superb human one's I will take a look. Looking for: Either Buffy was adopted, or Spike, or they both adopted a child together or apart. Example could be like Brave New World Spike had an adopted daughter. I don't want to just read they adopt, I want a story behind it. Especially if it's of a supernatural sense because of dealing with Spike's sunlight issue or Buffy's slayerness. I know most want a Spuffy genetic baby (I know I do) but for argument sake, let's just say they couldn't conceive what about adoption? But I'd also love to see some fics that Buffy either finds she was really adopted and how she deals with it. Anything focusing on adoption would be great! Thanks a bunch!
