Im looking for any stories (canon or non-canon) where Buffy meets William before hes turned and then he becomes a vampire. Obviously it must be spuffy, so angst and all that is fine but please please please let it have a happy ending

Hmmm. Slaymesoftly has a great fic called "Hearts Breaking Even" where Buffy jumps into a portal and spends time with William when he is a young boy. Of course, later they meet as slayer and vampire, and naturally their first encounter bubbles to the surface and effects their current relationship.

DampersandSpoons has an equally awesome fic called "Only Time Will Tell" where Buffy again goes back in time, but loses her memory and begins a relationship with William. It's overall tone is light, but has some pretty sad parts, and ends up light and Spuffy.

Also, one of my all time favourite fics has Buffy going back in time and meeting William then going back to the future where Spike is a vampire. Forward to Time Past by Unbridled Brunette (It's so good, I've read it like three times haha.)
