For a reason unknown even to my desperately-seeking brain, I'm on a hurt!Spike kick at the moment. So I'm looking for any fanfics at all where Spike has been injured in some way. Poisoned, flu-ridden, tortured, Hell-Bitched, First-beaten, fallen-off-a-tower... Anything from the sniffles to muscle aches... I'm after them all. Honestly, I haven't quite kicked into Human AUs, yet, but right now I'm pretty much desperate enough for anything that's readable so load those on me as well.

I'll paste a list under this of all the ones I've already dug up to avoid double-posts and to help anybody else out who is after this type of genre :P I started out really picky: only 100% IC 9un my head, anyway), very well-written and 98% Spuffy at least. Oh, I know, right??! And not only that, but the whole worldbuilding and character maturation is just exquisite. The magic and how to get it off and what each element ties to and Tara and Dru and just... I am very much in love with that fic. The other one I read constantly is 'Healing' by Kimi. The descriptions are amazing. And it helps that they wrote one from each POV.

I cannot wait to get stuck into these! I am, admittedly, more an h/c fan but as the options fizzle out slowly but surely I'm starting to broaden my horizons I'm pretty sure I'll check out the ones you mentioned, too, once I've done devouring the others. Thanks a million, once again!

Just read Daemons Luminati and that! was an awesome ride. What a great writer.

If anyone hasn't read Nickeltaffy's Render the Extra Mile, I recommend it. It's got Buffy all headstrong about dismissing Spike as evil at the beginning; Tara and Dawn as Spike's defenders and a whole lot of pain heaped upon Spike. It is a WIP

The Origin Series by ripewickedplum is a WIP (I think long abandoned updated 2001!) but it is well worth the read anyway imo.
Post the Body. Spike, Buffy and Dawn grow close after the death of Joyce Summers and stand together against the threat of Glory. Not too faithful to Fifth season following 'The Body,' and deals with the friendship between Spike and Dawn, as well as the growing attraction between Spike and Buffy. Sex, violence, Glory being bad. Oh...and some extreme violence to kittens. (I love kittens! I swear I do!)

There is a bit of injured Spike in A Heart So Wild by spikeskat, it might just be a short bit at the beginning but it is a great fic so worth the read.

He gets injured in Anticipation by 2writers4spike but I think it might be during a time he isn't around Buffy if that matters to you.
Having no idea how it happened, Spike finds himself back in 1977, reeling from a newly acquired soul and more guilt than most could handle.
