Hey Everyone,
I was wondering if there were any good fics where everybody is the same as on the show, except for the fact that Spike isn't a vampire. By everybody is the same, I mean that Buffy is still the slayer, Giles is still her watcher, the Scoobies are still the Scoobies... the big difference is that Spike isn't a vampire.
He can be a vampire if he's a hybrid/Blade-like daywalker, but other than that I'm looking for a fic where Spike is different. I remember one fic where Spike is an Occult Detective (think John Constantine or Harry Dresden), and he arrives in town on a case, but I can't remember the name... but something in that vain. He can be a demon of another sort... He can be a human, but there has to be something that separates him from other humans, (like being a male slayer, or a demon hunter, or a wizard/mage/magic user).
I'd prefer it if Spike showed up to Sunnydale already different, and not fics where he starts off as a vamp but then changes to something else, however if that's all you can find, go ahead and recommend it, just leave a note telling me so.
