awesome spuffy fic recs need!

hey hey

due to being slightly unemployed and the fact uni doesnt start till september i find myself in a position to read as much spuffy fanfic as i can so any good recs would be great

im a big fan of dampersandspoons, behindblueeyes, greyangel, nautibitz, addie logan and pet

i tend to lean towards the darker side of the fic verse particularly bad boy spike (i LOVE closer and closer by damperandspoons) i prefer AU fics but i do love vamp fics with vamp buffy and slayer spike fics i also like twists on the regular buffyverse like ghostofasnickerdoodle's epitah again though i do like do indulge my romantic side once in awhile

i have already gone through cordykittens AWESOME list of slayer spike and vamp buffy fics so and new recs would be great!

These are all great stories from wonderful authors and you won't go wrong, IMHO, reading other of their stories too.

I can't recommend Imitation of Man by Dark Apple enough (it's on LJ). I also like shapinglight's Spuffy fic. Unbridled Brunette's fic is amazing, if you haven't read it.

I really love Unbridled Brunette's fics.

My top three favorite Spuffy fics of all time are probably Imitation of a Man, Forward to Times Past and Charms of the Clarion, in that order.

I was unaware of darkapple so I went and copied that story immediately. Looks fantastic. Long and well written, just like I like 'em. Thanks.

Have you read the classics like the Barbsverse, Journeys by Mary, Annie Sewell Jennings, Herself, etc. or are you looking for newer fics?

this is all great... i didnt really know what i was looking for i guess i just fancied reading something new and different before returning to my samurai champloo obsession so thanks for all the recs time to get crackin reading them

ps just finished reading subsitution and indigo overtunes really enjoyed both

sotia has great stories too although not dark. she has stopped writing but you can still find her stuff here for now at least.

If u want a romantic Angst (human) story even tho everybody has read it but it is my all time fav story so rereading is accepted at least i think so lol Pretty sure most old school and others read it already but i wanted to have some input and help 2 but Pride and Prejudice By Ripe Wicked Plum Awsome story but it is sad so brace yourself

The ending of that one was a HUGE disappointment to me, personally, so be prepared for that- I just think of it as a WIP.
