Ive read several fics where when buffy beats up spike in dead things spike just lies there then either leaves, gets angry with buffy and tells her to go away or just pretends it never happened is there any dead things fics where either buffy goes to far and dusts him or when she starts to beat him up spike fights back and doesnt just lie there and take it eventually they do get back together after spike forgives her

There is a fic where Xander witnesses the beatdown and the cops are called and drive everyone home. I am currently trying to seek it out for you because it was a while back that I read it. I will post it ASAP unless someone else knows the title.
