Hi everyone,

So I came to the Buffy scene a bit late. I always seem to hear whispers of this amazing fic, laments of that wonderful site going down, and well, I feel a bit lost. I've tried to find my way as best as I could through those fics that everyone has seemed to have read (and are still up...), but it's been rough. It's so strange to miss something you never had and know you'll never get to see it.

On that note, I'm looking for Color of Devotion, by Rikki_Oko. "Smoke & Mirrors" and "Indigo Overture" have been two fics that I have truly, truly enjoyed, so I can easily guess I would have loved Color of Devotion. On Rikki_Oko's site, it says it's down for massive editing, but that was a few years ago and the site doesn't seem to have been touched since '08. I'm primarily looking for the fic itself, but if someone has news of the redux (even if only to tell me to be patient), it would be greaty appreciated.

Thank you to everyone here for, well, still being here. If not, I wouldn't have found half the great stories that I have.

Post NFA Spike with no memories paints the city with pictures of Buffy's face

OK I think this was a WIP might still be. After NFA, Spike gets brought back /maybe healed by a baddie who wants to use him. Drusilla is involved somehow but I don't think she's the ultimate baddie.

Spike has no real memories of before - except for Buffy's face. He's obsessed by her face in fact and ends up painting graffiti pictures of her all over the city. Xander gets a construction contract in the same city and sees all the pictures. He catches the painter in the act one day and realises that it's Spike. After that Buffy comes to see, meets Spike (I think he's living in a butchers shop) and then I think Dru tries to take control of hand I don't remember much after that... help, please!

Summary: The Scoobies are trying to start over in a new city after Spike's heroic sacrifice. The absence of the blond vampire casts a shadow over Buffy, and her longing for what is lost only increases when the works of a nocturnal artist begin to mysteriously appear.

SPECIAL NOTE: Color of Devotion is currently not available. It's been taken offline as it is being re-worked by Rikki.
