No Buffy is not clue less but Spike is pathetic. 10 years, who are we kidding here? This don't fly for shit, people get over and move on....unless you are an idiot or just a masochist (sp?)

At some point most people would cut their losses and get on with their lifes.....He never came across as pathetic......I mean could you imagine Spike haning around for 10 years and yearning for Buffy if she was married to either Riley or Angel on the show? There are limits to what even he will put up with.

To be honest this particular part of the story is what I find the hardest to swallow and really makes it hard for me to read it. Cause I think that all tha characters are in some way pathetic. I know it's bad when I cheer for Xander and hope that he will have a happy ending, I know it won't be a Buffy/Xander ending but I hope the guy gets something good.

In your other stories I usually like most of the characters, even the "bad" guys usually got some redeming qualities but in this story they are just not very lovable. Hell you should just have them in an orgy cause they pretty much all deserve each other.

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing this story. I know it's a tough read when you love the characters from the show as much as you seem to. This was my first fiction, ever and I re-wrote it before I submitted it here and on BSC. Alot of the readers felt as you do; that Spike and Buffy were pretty much losers in this one. I had a hard time writing them this way because I loved both of them so much on the TV show. Spike was always an enigma to me; that's why I wrote him this way. He seemed so devoted to the woman he loved, no matter how she hurt him. This is why I have him 'pining' for Buffy all those years, whereas Buffy is clueless to his feelings. I'm not sure how much of the story you have read, or if you choose to continue. Please try and maybe the next chapters will explain themselves and our two lost 'souls' Spike/Buffy along the way. Xander is not what he seems. Spike and Buffy will turn out to be less clueless about their feelings for each other as time goes on in the story. Thank you for reviewing this and I hope you stick with it. Also, thank you for reading and reviewing the other stories of mine. you're bloody right she's not stupid...just a little slow and with really bad bad ideas ;) she reallywants to refuse spike becos he's so tempting...somthing the others aren't you're doing well so far...keep it up thanx

Author's Response: Thank you. However, I am taking this fic off the board. There's not alot of interest in it, and I'm going to finish SYC, then write a new story. That one will be about vampires and such, with a twist. Thanks, again, Luv spuf
