This is a well written story. And I feel I need to say this before anyone gets out of hand. If you read the rules, it states that so long as Spike and Buffy are the central characters, the story is 'SPUFFY!'. Spike and Buffy DO NOT have to be invovled in a sexual relationship in order for it to be spuffy. If you want a Sexual Spuffy fic, then please check the warnings, if it says Buffy/Other or Spike/Other that means they are in relationships with 'Other' people, NOT each other. Now if this isn't something you fancy then move on and don't waste energy reading and reviewing a story you already know you're not going to like, nor try to steer the author to where you want them to take the story. Mabel you're doing a wonderful job, stay true to what you invision. So far Spike and Buffy are the key players, and that's all that matters, that's all that's required here...so keep up the great work hon :)

I know it may seem mean, but this is why I let these two chapters be posted, after having denied them numerous times. Even though I sent you numerous email telling you that you need a beta, you need to proofread, you still insisted on submitting your fic. So, I knew the readers would be honest, and I appreciate that they were all very constructive and not nasty. So now you see why I wouldn't allow the fic, and why I have denied chapter 3. You need to get a beta, now that 4 of us have said as much, hopefully you'll listen. This is a very interesting start, there were quite a few typos, errors with the tenses and grammar but that could easily be addressed with proofreading or sending it to a couple of beta readers. Still it is an interesting beginning, it definitely did what I think all first chapters should do, which is capture the audience, pull them into the story, and hopefully make them want to read more.
