I'm really enjoying this. And I don't even like 'all-human AU'.
Or high school fics for that matter. I'm very impressed.
Are you ever going to address the issue that William was just fine the way he was before the make-over, though? And that it was the narrow minds of the high school students that were the real problem? Including Buffy.
Anyway, I'm loving your story and I'm looking forward to reading more.

I was worried at first that you might fall into the 'all-knowing Buffy' trap which gets boring quickly- but you dodged the bullet and made her very approachable and Buffy-like.

You've definately caught my interest. It's very ambitious for your first story but that's never a bad thing.
You might want to space out the paragraphs to make it a bit easier to read.
I must say I'm impressed with your grasp of torture and violation. It's successfully chilling. You don't always turn the phrases how would but you do it in your own way.
