You know I saw this line:
It didn’t help that Riley was like communism. Good on paper. Not so much in real life.
And I thought lets let the author know that I like her fic. And then I saw the next burn and the next and I tought maybe I should quote those too, cause you know, loved them.
And then Buffy and Spike really got going with the insult-making and I realised that I couldn't quote all the good bits because you wrote the thing and there is already a copy of this chapter here, you don't need another on the review page.
Summary: Spike sobers up after Lovers Walk S3 and wonders why he wants to go back to a cheating Dru anyway. Buffy, meanwhile, tries to get a handle on a future that won’t include Angel. Can two broken hearts find an island of comfort in each other’s arms and then just walk away?

Okay, before I came to the end of the chapter I figured that Spike doing his impersonation of the depressing duo was my favourite bit, that was as good as in the show. But then I came to the end and Spike saying he will not let anybody else kill her because that is a right he claims for himself. Great.
And then him listing all her qualities, wish it had been said in the series.
And to get back to the killing, I guess he will be killing her over and over again.

Oh my, at least Buffy isn't swimming in denial anymore and while they are both messed up beyond belief, still one of the hottest things I have read in a long time.

Fantastic. You write the angst and the slow changes in Buffy's and Dawn's demeanour very well and above all believably. I think i would have preferred this version to what actually happened in the show. The writers never did give Spike enough credit.

Oh that is good. Can't wait to find out more. Good storyline, building up very believably and the characterisation is spot on, especially Buffy's confusion as to why she keeps Spike around.

Summary: This fic takes place in season 6 of BTVS, picking up directly from the opening scene of Tabula Rasa. It begins with the Scoobies' discussion about Buffy's revelation of being pulled out of heaven and canons off from there, with Willow attempting to cast a truth spell over Buffy. Naturally, the spell goes awry, everyone in Sunnydale is affected and many secrets are revealed throughout the story. Much comedy, drama and passion (between Spike and Buffy) ensues, as the scoobies find themselves trying to save the day - again.

This is soooo cool. And necessary.
I wish they had done this in the series, but then Spike and Buffy would hashed things out much faster. And they wouldn't have had a reason for getting him out of town to get his soul and most of season six and seven wouldn't have happened.
