Oh very neat. I always love time travel fics, and taking Spike back to season 1 can only be of the good. Tricky with him not having personal memories of the time, but gives him the perfect opportunity to show from the beginning he can be a good guy without having the unfortunate history of trying to kill Buffy, and without Angelus to bugger up Buffy's emotions. I love the epilogue that hints at a 'happy ever after'...

I've only just found this fic, and I just wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying it. I love that Buffy is finally seeing how manipulative Willow, Xander and Giles have always been regarding her personal life. Love the way you've got Anya standing up for herself against that jerk Xander, and the way she's helping Buffy. Love the whole Joyce/Spike/Dawn dynamic and the way Buffy's finally letting herself be... herself.
Just waiting for the explosion when one of the Scoobies calls Angel...

Author's Response: Ill be forward with this one :P There is no soul involved just this huge inner conflict going on. Her slayer "demon" and her vamp demon arent meant to mix you see so they are fighting for dominence and clouding over everything that could be considered her true concious. So theres like three people inside Buffy's head right now ;)

I've said it all along, Buffy should have got drunk more often. Particularly when she was with Spike. Lowering the inhibitions reduces the uptightness and brings out the truth, ergo Spuffy.

Outstanding developments. You have Buffy's teenage angst confusion down pat as is Spike's insecurity and devotion. Can't wait for the reality of sharing a flat to occur to Buffy, how on earth is she going to be able to resist him? And what about his feeding? Is Spike going to go 'vegetarian' for her?
