Angel has horded his supremacy over Spike for over a century, and it is time for Spike to show once and for all that he is the winner in the end. He wiped the floor with Angel during their battle in the opera house for the cup. Fake cup or not, he is about to be rewarded with everything he’s ever wanted. It’s time for Spike to be rewarded with his destiny. (Also I am changing the canon timeline for Angel at the end of this story because of how I ended up wanting to settle things.)

So... Buffy's ditched the Scoobies (Yay!) and Dawn has gone back to being swirly green energy . I'm a bit thrown by Lyndsay McDonald turning out to be Buffy's brother, but I'll deal. Glad to see Pike, and love that Buffy already knows Lorne. Looking forward to her knowing that Spike is back, but I suspect Spike might be upset by his Niblet having been re-keyed.
Very original concept. Looking forward to more.

Absolutely brilliant. Fascinating how Dawn is the only one who retains her memories correctly. Love the Giles/Joyce sexage and Anya's persistant pursuit of Xander and Xander giving in to Anya even though he hasn't got a clue what she's saying. As for Willow's babbling denial and the Hotness that is Buffy & Spike... perfect. I can't wait to see what happens next. Has Dawn fixed it all or made everything permanent... and which would be better? I just hope that when it's all resolved Buffy doesn't get all nasty and vengeful towards our poor Spike. Waiting impatiently for updates now...

I was so worried that this spectacular story was never going to be finished. I read the first 'William' section ages ago and then decided to wait until you'd finished before reading the rest. I don't know why I decided that. I must have been nuts. It's taken me 2 days to read from the beginning again (I had to refresh my memory) and I may just go back to the beginning and start again. This is one of the best Spuffy stories that I've ever read... and I've read a LOT! You should be proud of yourself You gave us humour, pathos, tragedy, drama and romance while keeping everyone true to the characters we became so familiar with on the show. Thank you.
