My hat off to you! I hardly ever ready post-series fics, because I hate wrapping my mind around season 7, but this one sucked me in. The SITs were not annoying, the original characters were wonderful, and Spike and Buffy were perfect. I also loved the fact that Spike shanshued, but got vamped again, because I'm selfish and love him as a vamp!

Oh, I love this! Completely hilarious and wonderful! My favorite part so far was Buffy locking Spike out on the balcony. And Spike was so naughty, to replace things in her suitcase... He is a planner, isn't he?

I loved this bit! Go for rolling around on the floor "wrestling." And whoa, Buffy has the silent treatment down to an art form. And heehee, she locked him out again. Glad they sort of made up, though. Great chapter!

I can SO see Spike acting all embarassed and shy, pretending he misunderstood about Buffy's birthday! And "Angel or Henry," LOL! Buffy and Spike's night out on the town was great, but what's gonna happen when she sobers up tomorrow? Excellent chapter!

Awww, no happy ending for Spike? So much happened, yet nothing happened! Argh! So, why IS Buffy so timid around guys? Or is it just Spike? What skeleton has she got in her closet? :) And Spike, naughty Spike, you just don't understand that to a girl, a handjob is more than you think it is. "Happy ending, that's all." Author's Response: Nope, no happy ending this time – poor Spike. As far as Buffy being so timid around men, well, that’s be revealed in a later chapter – it’s all about timing, trust me. Part of me wants to say you’ll be surprised why, another part me thinks you may not, but either way, it’s a plan of mine not to reveal why until JUST the right moment, *winks*. YAY!!! They Finally seem to be on the same page!! Poor Spike in the hospital though, from walking around all angry and depressed. (Loved Fred!) So he gets his eyebrow scar here? Great chapter, and looking forward to Buffy's talk.

Author's Response: Hehehehe, guess I got Spike pretty banged up but in the end, he did get what he wanted most. So glad you enjoyed Fred - I needed a bit of comic relief from the suturing scene and she's so quirky and funny to work with. Yup - Spike get's his scar here, I figured why not, lol. And they do it! Excellent chapter! Spike was unbelievably sweet and patient, and Buffy was nervous but excited... We all need Spikes for our first time (and the time after that, and the time after that, etc. :) I think you did virgin Buffy just fine!

Still loving it! Buffy is settling in very nicely with her new friends... I was surprised at first that it was Faith and not Anya with Xander, though. Nice to see Faith and Xander, they definitely could work, especially without all that "she tried to kill him and is evil" baggage. :)
