Well... I'm not really sure how I'm feeling right now... It was definatley an interesting twist with Merl and Dru.
As for the rest of the story... I'm speechless. It was definately a plot bunny that had to be written but I feel bad for Spike. After what happened in the first fic this one just make me feel sad for Spike. His character just can't get a break, Of course when it comes to Spike Its really par for the course.
It really was a great story. Bravo!

OMG!!!!! I freaking loved this fic!!!! I knew I wanted to read it from way back but I never knew I was missing so much!
I told you I hated reading fics that werent finished and I have to say I'm glad I stuck to my guns about it. I'm glad cause I would have been a crazy person harrassing you for updates every day. There is no way I would have made it a week between chapters!
As for the story itself... For a while it was kinda porn-ish but the steamy sex didnt take away from the story, I think that if anything it added to the frustration you feel for the characters at the end when they cant be together. As a reader you took me though all the lusty feelings as well as all the down times. I really felt what Buffy and Spike were feelikng and as far as I'm concerned that is what makes a story great!
The only Part that messed me up was putting Oz and Tara together! OMG it was so strange trying to picture it! and that they were Xanders parents! LMAO! I was crazy and weird and really great all at the same time.
I dont know if my rambling has covered it or not but I LOVED IT!!! LOVED IT!!! LOVED IT!!! LOVED IT!!!

This fic was very moving. I'm surprised how much I loved the Buffy POV through the whole thing, but it definately worked!
