Summary: Summary: Buffy Summers and Spike Pratt have been best friends since they were stealing each other’s juice boxes in preschool. They’ve been there for each other’s ups and downs. When Buffy’s parents, who have always been her model couple, tell her they’re getting a divorce, she runs to the one source of comfort she’s got left.

I read your last few updates. Sad about Joyce. You wrote the angst well with a spark of hope, which made it easier to read.
Glad Hank realized that Buffy needs to stay at home.. at least for time being.
Dawn is cute. I like how Buffy is trying.. but loving her should take some time. Dawn is her sister and therefore Buffy shouldn't have to take care of her as a mother, but as an older sister. The way Buffy is with Dawn shouldn't be seen as her ability to be a mom to her own child.
I'd like to see how the pregnancy goes.. not month to month story. But how Buffy feels about the changes and becoming a mom and what about Spike, how does he feel.
I could read more Spike- plot, but haven't felt lacking of it so far..
More naked Spike is always appreciated ;)
I like what you've done with the story so far and cannot wait to read more.

Yeah, I'm trying not to make Hank into a complete ass, and I think he's definitely gonna step up as more of a dad in the coming chapters, especially when Buffy and Spike experience some troubles. Not to worry though. Spike and Buffy are a strong couple. :) It helps that they've been best friends forever.
I'll definitely try to put more of the emotions behind the pregnancy into it. I think that's what you mean, right?

Yeah, I'm trying not to make the pregnancy be THE story. The story's more about Buffy and Spike and if they can stay friends and lovers at the same time, which Buffy feared might be impossible at the beginning of the story.

once she left I was very relieved.. (well, I am somewhat pessimistic..)

I just felt that Spike was too open with Willow. I mean are they that close friends? And also Willow too straight forward with him, talking about Buffy. Somehow it just didn't feel right to me. But that's probably just me.

Willow and Spike were childhood friends together, I meantioned that the three of them were best friends together but he was closer with Buffy. He was so open with her because he had no one else.
