I love that Spike is romantic and sentimental, but it wasn't his Dru! It was a spare Dru, you can dust a spare Dru. Whatever, in my mind Dru woke up and said something kooky which annoyed Illyria, and so Illyria killed Dru. And then everyone got together to dust Angel. The End. I mean, she made Spike forget Buffy, and he nearly killed her because of it. What does Dru have to do to get dusted? I don't want to say because then someone will use it but I know exactly what would get her dusted, and I think that whole mess should just be avoided through means of a well deserved dusting. Take the Giles approach to life, don't leave loose ends (I'm talking about Ben).
Author's Response: Hi WWW --- actually, she\'s the only Dru I have, \'cause Spike dusted his Dru already in the very first chapter. Sooooo.... unless I start bringing them in from other Universes, I don\'t have any more Dru\'s if I dust her and she\'s such a crazy loon, I hate to completely lose the chance of her coming back again.
You\'re right, of course, the smart thing would be to not leave any loose ends ... but then, it would be hard to write stories without some loose ends that could be used to tie people up with ...

About that line, I'm at the front of it. I made it. I sell tickets to that line. I don't think Angel is needed. They just need Dawn. And if Riley knows what is good for him, he won't be doing anything unseemly to the bodies of Willow, Gunn, and the slayers. He better not give Buffy & Spike any problems. Shipping Dru to the Anarctica is a good idea, burying her under the ice caps is an even better one. If Rome!Buffy was pissed enough to give Andrew permission to stake Angel, just imagine how pissed she'll be when she learns about that trunk. I'm thinking if anyone should get to kill Angel, it's her, and if Buffy really wants to kill an Angel, she can kill her dimension's Angel when she gets back. At this point, they'd be doing Angel a favor, he won't feel the need to brood anymore, he'd get to be with Cordy (assuming all the crap he's done doesn't land him in Hell again, but even so he won't have to mope about Cordy not being alive). The humane thing to do is to kill him, see I'm not about making him suffer.

I may have forgotten to mention.. yeah, Illyria made a deal with the crew of the ship to bury Dru in an ice field at the south pole ... :P So, as long as no one comes along and digs her up and forgets and lays an electric blanket on her (what movie was that?) we\'ll be good.
Unfortunately, R!Buffy giving Andrew permission to stake Angel is like giving Anya permission to be celibate .. it sounds good, but everyone knows it won\'t happen.

I was shocked that Tara did it, but it was right, and she was right. I wonder if she'll ever tell. Up until that point, I thought someone was going to have to tell Rome!Xander, and he would have done it in the name of Rome!Willow. That was a nice memorial service for her.
Smart and funny of Rome!Spike to take the pictures of him and Rome!Buffy, no chance of Angel keeping them...well definitely not now! Look on the bright side Angel, at least you don't have to pay off that American Express bill! Seriously though, Buffy needs to get that ring back before they go to Disneyland unless Spike arranged some special nighttime access which would be extra smart because no lines! Still someone should go get the ring, stake Angel, and send the ring to Buffy anonymously...I don't care who does it, just have it be done, and that can remain an unsolved mystery...although if it will be an issue between Buffy and Spike (though really this Buffy is still gonna care?) then have the person do it during a time that Spike's presence can always be accounted for with Buffy.
And yay for Lindsey helping out Tara. He is one of the good guys.

Spike in Mickey ears brought tears to my eyes...tears of insane laughter. The sex conversation was hilarious. Poor Spike, Buffy, and Giles for having to suffer through the embarrassment. Good of Spike to concur about the buffalo wings and blooming onions, but he might get in so much trouble when Anya finds out that doesn't work. Very sweet of Buffy to renew her vows and give Spike a new ring.
Now I wonder, does that charge on Angel's credit card effect this demension's Angel Investigations or the other ones. Because Cordelia and Gunn might show up to have something to say about it if it is this one's.

Also, the damn PTB better not be screwing with them. If Angel is good, he better damn well be good and have learned his lesson.

This is bad, as long as Buffy doesn't tell Spike, it is bad. It is a betrayal, and it says that Angel is more important than Spike. She could keep Spike from killing Angel, she knows she can. But she's not giving him that a chance. Keep Angel safe, whatever that's fine, but don't lie to Spike. No wonder Spike has insecurities when he keeps being proven that Buffy worries more about Angel. She needs to tell Spike that Angel is back, take the ring off Angel, give it to Spike, and to hell if Angel can't understand the fact that he's a vampire. He's too worried to go outside anyway so he can stay inside and not dust, and Spike can have the ring. And that's the stance I will continue to take during this whole story so I'm not sure how much good any review I give will be when I keep repeating the same thing so for the sake of not beating a dead horse, I might not say anything until Spike gets that ring.
Stupid, stupid Buffy. Just to reinterate, I'm not completely against the idea of helping Angel. She thinks he can be good again, then great, give him that chance. I'm against the idea of her not telling Spike that Angel is back because I think it only hurts Spike and doesn't do Angel any good. Buffy can keep Spike from doing anything. And I'm definitely against any idea of Angel keeping the ring, he can have it back if and when Spike shanshus, otherwise tough luck. He'll just deal. Harsh but I was never on Angel's team.

Hey remember on Friends when Ross thought Rachel cheated on him with Mark or would cheat on him, and they went on a break, and then Ross slept with Chloe.
Tell your muse not to think like that. Seriously. Tell him. Tell him Hallie-rat stays a rat, and Spike will stay away from all other women just Buffy will be staying away from other guys especially Angel.
I don't know if your muse was thinking like that, but I like to think worse case scenario and then preempt it.
Other than that, I'm completely on Spike's side. Take the house, take the kids, take Lorne (not like that). Buffy should have trusted more in Spike and what Angel has done in the past than in PTB dreams. I know she wants to save Annie, and that is good, but she really has to learn to trust those around her since they can't share in the experience of her dreams...which might be a way for Spike to see her reasons, more dream sharing. But still cooperation is always better than thinking one knows better than another.
Ok, broken record once again, but I had to comment because I really wanted to see Spike stand up and take control and have Buffy suffer for being stupid (which is cruel, I know) but damn it, that was really stupid of her. Maybe now, she'll learn to take control of her destiny. If she wants Annie to have her own life doing as she wants, then Buffy has to see that for herself as well and not the PTB's butt monkey.

Oh Spike, I'm on his side, but he could have handled that conversation with Annie a lot better. No child needs to be worried their parent doesn't love them and won't be coming back. I know I said for him to take the children because I wanted him to stand up for himself, but that doesn't mean I want him to not let Buffy have any access. Just wanted him to let her know that he wasn't walking away from the children's lives, and she was the one who messed up.
I know repairing their relationship will take a long time, and I know angst adds to a story, but I really hate angst and wish this could be over now. Damn the need for realism in good writing! I'm going to be driven crazy by this story. Perhaps, it will be better for my health if I just stick to what I normally do and blame Angel. Though I do find it suspicious that in the dream Angel just couldn't tell Buffy and Spike, no matter what the concerns they should have been told. I mean it's almost as if he cares more about the chance to be the hero than actually helping Annie and JJ. Making Angel the bad guy already makes me feel better. He'll probably get to be a good guy anyway, but I need something to get me through the angst. Once Buffy and Spike are okay again, I won't care if Angel gets to play the hero. Let me have my dreams!

I told myself not to read until the story was over, and I could be assured a happy ending. I never freaking listen!
Faith is kinda the best person ever with this line: “’Cause I didn’t fight my ass off against the armies of hell and bury six teenage girls for the phone …” I may not agree with her tactics, but she got the job done.
I don't think Buffy can die anyways because if we have to believe Angel saved Annie & JJ, then we also have to believe what they said in the dream is true...which is Buffy and Spike don't age. If one part is/isn't true, then the other will follow that lead. She's basically tempting fate here. And really, she's gonna do all of this to protect Annie and then not bother to try and be in her life and see Annie live. I hope Spike calls her on her stupidity. They can call each other on their stupidity.

I knew it! Okay, I didn't know it know it, but I knew there wasn't something good involved with Angel. Don't be an idiot Angel, the only way you get to shanshu is on the side of good. This will probably be difficult for him because evil is seductive...as Spike has proven.
Well I hope Buffy and Spike are happy for a little while longer. As for presents, I'm happy with Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Christmas Trees so perhaps that will fill Buffy's chocolate craving. For Spike, short of seeing Angel dust for good, I think sex with Buffy is his best Christmas present.

Yay to fun shopping trip and Willow's new job, but can we move on from the creepy idea that Spike has no future?
As for shoes, I pick 3 & 5 for their classic beauty look and 9 because I think the leather look is something Spike would like.

My muse says \'Enough of this sappy happy crap - on to the angst!\' and I must do as he says ... otherwise he goes and sits on the couch and watches ManU and drinks beer.

That was a beautiful wedding/handfasting. I'm so glad Tara has a real family to stick up for her. Spike was just awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if Buffy thought the way he handled Mr. McClay was really hot. Willow's wedding dress is similar to the style I want for my wedding, though I want it in blue. Tara had a beautiful wedding dress as well.
Author's Response: Hi WWW! I really love the vows that are incorporated into wiccan/pagan wedding/handfasting ceremonies ... I probably went overboard with them, but it is Willow and Tara and we\'ve been waiting a long time for this ... :D I love both of the dresses - I think Tara would\'ve looked amazing in that one and I always love the Maid Marion type dresses, too. Oh yeah, I\'m sure Buffy would\'ve thought Spike\'s defense of Tara was hot -- can I get him to check my blood for demon? LOL!
