I'm sorry I haven't reviewed the other chapters but the fic is finished so I'm reading it all in one go, but I felt the need to review this chapter.

I'm usually against rape of any kind and I tend to stay away from rape no matter how good the rest of the story is (which btw, this one is awesome so far :D).

This time however I found it tolerable because a) Spike is not himself,
b) because Buffy, while not enjoying it, let it happen even though she wasn't very happy about it and
c) it wasn't brutal all the way through.

All in all it wasn't very hard to read it because you know that thay love eachother and that the rape was just a horrible consequence of the torture he had to go through.

It's still good that you put up the warning in the beginning of the chapter and I thank you for that because I don't know how I would have reacted without it and it gave me a choice of not reading it.

Apart from all that I'm really enjoying this story and I must say that find it refreshing reading a story that deviates from the recurring plots in the spuffy fandom.

I know that this a very very old story of yours and I haven't read any of your more recent fics so the next part might be unnecessary and if it is, please ignore me but I think it would be nice with slightly shorter paragraphs. It's not all the time but now and then the paragraphs get quite chunky which makes it harder to read and somewhat disrupts the flow of the chapter.
