The intro to Dawn was nice. They don't seem to get along so I would like to read more about that. Buffy's father must have passed instead of her mother.
Author's Response: You would be correct, I mentioned briefly that her father passed in Chapter 5 at the very beginning, when Spikes asking her about her mom. I will get into that a little more as there bond gets stronger. As far as Dawn, for once I don\'t want her to be the annoying kid sister. I have a lot of great plans for dawn in my story!

You're doing a good job. It is based on the movie but there are already differences. Which is difficult to make something your own when your basing it off of another work. On that note: please don't have Spike play hacky sack. LOL I hated that scene in the movie.
