Ohhh, the love goddess is around! I can't wait to see what Spike's mom is up to.
Now, please clear something up for me, is Spike's mother the goddess or is it his dad?
Anyway, I know that Eros, or Cupid whichever myth you choose to follow is the child of Ares/Aphrodite or Mars/Venus.
Interesting story here (or so I think! tee hee)
At Hearst's Castle (which is really a rance-go figure) there are alot of statues dedicated to Venus/Mars and/or Aphrodite/Ares.
One statue as Cupid tormenting his father, Mars who is all decked out in war gear. Which, leads us to the interesting part: Has anyone noticed how beautiful, like a work of art, Spike and Buffy are together? They can look like a painting, one I"ve always favored 'Venus and Mars' I believe by Bonechelli (sorry my spelling is horrid).
Also of interest to note that Cupid or Eros is the offspring of Love and War. Or perhaps, Good and Evil? I suppose it's all in how you look at it, eh?
