Summary: Takes place after Something Blue, goes off canon there. Spike and Buffy had feelings for each other before the spell of Willow's. Now that the spell is broken, our Spuffy couple realize that spell or not, they are in love with each other.

Yeah ... {Claps} Spike and Buffy really laid it on Giles. I was glad to see Oz chipping in there for the couple too. Wolves are very territorial and mates ... very essential to a werewolf/wolf. I hope Willow takes his advice. I don't think she realizes what kind of insults she would be doing to Oz too if she tried to get between someone else and their mate. That could make Oz feel that she doesn't treat mating as a sacred union if it doesn't suit her purpose. That definitely wouldn't bode well for the two of them. Look forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: I'm very interested in wolves (especially as connected to BTVS/ATS) for very good reason.
First off, I always thought it interesting that Spike was 'Randy/Randalph' in Tabula Rasa.
Randalph translated from old Germanic tongue means: Rand (rim/or protective shield) 'Alph' or (Rand)Wulf which of course equals wolf.
Also, Dracula transformed into a wolf in that episode and was quite attached to them (creatures of the night) in the book and movies.
Also, wolves, as you said are extrememly devoted to each other, especially the Alpha Female/Alpha Male.
Anyway, I digress, but yes I wanted Oz as the 3rd person POV because he seems to get left out in alot of fictions and I just loved him! He will play a major part in the fiction as it progresses.

NO NOOOOO ... I swear I'm going to kick all of their arrogant, self-absorbed, self-righteous asses. Hope they get their just deserves. I think Oz needs to come kick some Scooby ass. Even though they don't want to tell Riley that Oz is a werewolf, he might have to so that he can get his point across. Oz, being a territorial breed, would understand the nature of claims. {growls} So going to kick someone's butt for separating our two lovers.

Excellent update. I love seeing Oz in Spike's corner. It's giving me some ideas for other stories that would involve the two of them in such comraderie. People don't realize just how territorial werewolves would be, just like regular wolves. I look forward to the next update.

Ooo ... Angel is in Angelus kicking mode. Awesome! Good to see him sticking up for his family, soul or not. The fact that he's helping Spike to get Buffy back gives him even more respect in my book. I like the alternatives he gave Wesley. LOL. I hope that Wesley is able to get Giles to see reason. I'm sorry that Oz wasn't able to get WIllow to see reason. I look forward to the next chapter. That was a nice wake up call. Sweet about the tatoo. I'm not a big tatoo person, but that is so sweet in fiction as a sign of devotion. I'm worried about what Cordy is going to do now that Angel told her he wasn't going to help anymore. I just started reading this yesterday.

Awesome update. The scenes between Spike and Buffy were very emotional and well throught out. Your thoughts, back emotions and present emotions were right on. They moved me through the entire chapter from start to finish. Wesley's bit with Dawn at the end really gave a lot to Wesley's character. I like how you put that in. I enjoy seeing Oz, Tara, and Wesley fleshed out into broader and more main characters. Oz and Tara actually make a cute couple, if the story goes more in that direction. Dawn and Wes are so cute. Maybe she can convince Wes that her crush is okay if he likes her because she's an ancient ball of energy in human form. So she's way older than him anyways. LOL. Look forward to the next update.

OH my gosh ... Angelus and Dur attacked Oz ... Angelus broke Oz's jaw? Eeek ... Excellent chapter all around. Poor Cordy being tortured that way. When will Willow ever get a clue. Excellent story. I'm sorry to hear about you being in so much pain. Have you tried voice activated typing? There are programs that you just speak, and it types for you. There are minor mistakes to fix, but it would be easier for you in the end. The programs are fairly common and a lot cheaper now too. Look forward to the next update.
