I feel like most of the fics I read are ones where Spike is trying to integrate into the Scoobies, whether for Buffy or simply to be included to stave off his own loneliness. I guess what I'm looking for are fics where Spike is being sought by the Scoobs, whether it's because they specifically need him for a spell or a prophecy or simply because they need a helping hand.

I just wanna read some fics where it's Spike for once that's resisting bending to their every whim, as opposed to Spike bending over backwards to be accepted. I don't really care about ratings. I just want it to be Spike that has the power in his dealings with the Scoobs.

I'm not sure if I'm being clear here lol. Simple request: fics where the Scoobies come to Spike, not the other way around.
